refund & cancelation
refund & cancelation
This policy outlines the terms for refunds regarding digital product purchases and cancellations for design services provided by Lennart Ahlfeldt (LennArtWorks).
Part A: Policy for Digital Products
This section applies to all digital products, assets, and components sold through any marketplace or directly.
1. General Policy: All Sales Are Final
Due to the digital nature of my products, all sales are final. Once you have gained access to the digital component, it cannot be "returned." Therefore, I generally do not offer refunds or exchanges for any digital products purchased.
Please review the component's features and preview before making a purchase. If you have any questions, please contact me before you complete your purchase.
2. Exceptions
I will consider granting a refund for a digital product in the following specific cases:
• Major Defects: If the component is broken, non-functional, or does not work as advertised and I am unable to provide a working solution within a reasonable timeframe.
• Misrepresentation: If the component was misrepresented in its description or preview.
• Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same component more than once.
3. How to Request a Refund for a Digital Product
To request a refund based on the exceptions above, please contact me within 14 days of your purchase at hey@lennartworks.de, including your order details and a clear explanation of the issue.
Part B: Policy for Design Services
This section applies to all project-based services, including but not limited to web design, development, and branding.
1. Cancellation by the Client
If you choose to cancel a project after work has commenced, you will be billed for all work completed up to the date of cancellation, charged at my standard hourly rate. No refunds will be issued for work already completed.
2. Cancellation by the Designer
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel a project, any payments made for uncompleted work will be refunded.
3. Revisions & Project Completion
Revisions are a collaborative part of the design process. The project offer includes an estimated workload in hours to complete the agreed-upon scope. To ensure the project moves forward efficiently, I reserve the right to conclude the design phase if the client's change requests would cause the estimated workload to be significantly exceeded. Further changes would then be handled as a new scope of work.
A project is considered complete upon the delivery of the final design draft for your review and approval (the "final presentation"). At this stage, the final invoice will be issued. Minor adjustments can, of course, be made before the final handover. However, any substantial changes or new feature requests after the final presentation will be treated as a separate project or ongoing support.
4. Final Payment and Project Delivery
The final payment is due upon receipt of the final invoice. The final website will be made live and/or final design files will be delivered only after the final payment has been received in full.
5. No Refunds After Final Approval
Once you have given final approval for the project, the service is considered rendered and complete, and no refunds will be issued.
Changes to this Refund Policy
I may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in my practices or legal requirements. I encourage you to review this page regularly for any updates.
